Small ranch home backing up to the Lambeau Field parking lot in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Real Estate

This Green Bay House Backs Right Up to Lambeau Field

A 1,056-square-foot ranch on Stadium Drive is asking a genuinely wild sum for its size — and the reason is sitting right in the backyard. This house backs directly up to the Lambeau Field parking lot, and Reddit spent an entire thread trying to figure out if that's actually worth it.

Location, Location, Location (Really)

This 3-bedroom, 1-bath home sits in one of the closest possible spots to Lambeau Field, with easy access to nearby practice fields, the Resch Center, and Titletown's restaurants and bars. The house itself has been updated with a newer roof, water heater, washer/dryer, and central air, plus a remodeled bathroom with a tile walk-in shower. Worth knowing: there are no interior photos in the listing, and no showings are scheduled until September 28, 2026 — so most of what's driving interest here is the location itself, not the house.

Could It Pay for Itself?

Naturally, Reddit's finance department showed up. One detailed breakdown estimated roughly $2,000 a night on game weekends, $500 a night otherwise, and enough non-football events (concerts, other sports, Resch Center shows) to push rentals well past just the 9 home games a year. Another commenter ran the full math — Airbnb fees, property taxes, cleaning costs, a $1.6 million mortgage at current rates — and landed on a rough net cost of around $50,000 a year to own it as a rental, with a suggestion that a property near the Wisconsin Dells might actually pencil out better.

The Internet Has Thoughts

Naturally, this listing caught the attention of Reddit's r/zillowgonewild community, who joked it should come with season tickets or a roster spot at this price, debated whether using the yard for game-day parking would out-earn renting the house itself, and zoomed into the photos to confirm the lawn already has parking lines spray-painted into it. One commenter who Airbnb'd near a stadium before warned that game-weekend renters are harder on a property than typical guests. See what people are saying about it here.
