Matt Holliday's Oklahoma Estate Has Its Own Ballpark
Most families put a swing set in the yard. Former MLB All-Star Matt Holliday put in a baseball field, complete with stadium lights. His estate at 3003 S Country Club Road in Stillwater, Oklahoma, is now on the market. It includes a 7,500-square-foot single-level home built in 2022 with five bedrooms and seven baths, plus enough sports amenities to host a small tournament.
A Training Ground With a Track Record
Holliday is a Stillwater native and a seven-time All-Star who won the 2011 World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals. When he came home, he built a professionally lit baseball field that, according to reports, also has turf, stands, and a fire pit behind home plate. Add in a batting cage, indoor pickleball and basketball courts, and a private putting green, and you have a property that has already done its job. His son Jackson went first overall to the Baltimore Orioles in the 2022 MLB Draft, and his son Ethan went fourth overall to the Colorado Rockies in 2025. As one Redditor put it, that field has more than paid for itself.
Oh, and There's a House Too
Inside, you'll find designer finishes like Gucci wallpaper, two dedicated offices, and a spa-style primary suite with his-and-hers closets. Outside, a two-level pool the listing values at $2 million anchors the backyard. It's joined by a hot tub, outdoor kitchen, pond, guest house, workshop, and RV hookups. A $150,000 Crestron smart home system runs the whole operation, and around $3 million in custom furniture comes with the sale, although reports say Holliday's baseball memorabilia stays with him. On Reddit, the strangely bright red infield got a lot of attention. Some commenters accused the photos of being heavily filtered, while others pointed out that it's turf and that Oklahoma's dirt is famously red anyway. The Gucci wallpaper split the room, and at least one commenter wanted to know where the golf simulator was.
