Outrageous Wedding Gowns No One Should Ever Wear

When it comes to weddings, one of the most important parts of the entire ceremony is the wedding dress. Some brides would even say that the wedding gown is, in fact, the most important part of the wedding. But each bride wants to be different with their wedding dress and some have even come up with the wildest and most incredible dress ideas.

The traditional wedding dress is usually a long white gown. Having a decent wedding gown is very important, especially on that one special day. So it comes as a surprise that some brides have decided to wear these incredible dresses on their big day.

Viva Las Vegas

This bride decided to do something along the lines of a Las Vegas showgirl, with a short skirt, a gaudy headdress, and some interesting shoes. It makes you wonder what the bridesmaids look like.

Less is More

This bride looks like she’s getting ready for the wedding night rather than her wedding ceremony. I’m pretty sure the dress line is not supposed to be higher than the garter. And then there’s that interesting piece on her belly button.

Lights Camera Action

These pair of brides decided to use lights to illuminate their wedding gowns. It works to some effect, although one could say that they look more like Halloween ghost costumes than wedding gowns.

Combat Ready

This bride decided to go the route of a camouflaged wedding gown. Maybe she felt a connection to nature, or maybe she was also getting ready to enter enemy lines or go hunting later that day.

Overflowing Success

This blushing bride had everyone in her wedding blushing by the amount of skin she exposed on her special day. Maybe that’s why the groom doesn’t look too pleased.

High Fashion

Sometimes going the traditional way is not always a bad thing. It’s better than risking embarrassment with some odd and risky wedding gowns, much like this odd ensemble.

Fire Hazard

Some brides want to look hot on their wedding day, but this bride took things to a different level with her flaming wedding gown. Maybe she wanted to look really fast going down the aisle.

Strange Themes

When picking out a wedding dress, you want people to know that they are looking at a bride when they see you in it. That isn’t the case with this particular wedding gown, where you have no idea what the dress is for or even if it is a dress.

Sporty Theme

This couple decided to go the sporty route and wear matching cheer-leading outfits to their wedding day. They even had their roles printed out on the front of their “uniforms”.  At least the bride is wearing white.

Lego Wedding Gown

Lego has been trending these past few years, but you have to draw the line at having a white Lego wedding gown. Not only will it be difficult to walk in that thing, but how is the bride supposed to get out of it after the wedding.

Garden Wedding

This bride and her bridesmaids decided to wear something that looks like it came from a farm the Bronze Age. The bridesmaids look like they are wearing curtains, while the bride looks like she has a pot of flowers on her head.

Pink Powder

This bride decided to deviate from the traditional white colors of the wedding gown and went of black and pink. That would have been fine only her fashion choices made her look like a giant poodle.

Taking a Pill

This is another odd choice for a wedding gown, placing large pill-shaped decorations all over the top just isn’t every girl’s dream. Maybe her groom was dressed as a giant glass of water.

Weather Proof

This fashion forward wedding gown is odd with its transparent veil and see-through materials, but at least she’ll be dry if it rains on her wedding day.

Ordering Online

Some brides decide to widen their search for their wedding gowns by going online. The only problem is that the gown might not look the same in person as it did on the pictures posted on the internet.

Customer Complaint

Here we have another case of false advertising as the dress that arrived is far from the dress that the bride ordered from a website.

Head Gear

In this case, the dress was actually pretty decent, that was until the bride decided to go wild with the headdress/ head accessories.

Street Art

This couple decided to include their graffiti-like street art in their wedding ceremony. Not it looks like the wedding dress was a victim of a hate crime. (But at least she’s wearing a dress unlike the bum groom with a hat and t-shirt on)

In a Barbie World

This bride looks like a giant Barbie doll with the over the top pink designs and giant pink heart motif. She also seems to be showing a little too much skin for her wedding day.

Reuse and Recycle

This bride decided to do more to save the planet with her wedding gown by using recyclable materials. At the very least, she’s color coordinated with her recycling efforts.

Fluff Overload

This bride looks like she’s drowning in a bubble bath with the intensity and size of her dress. It also doesn’t help that she’s wearing a bedazzled crown.

Pumped Up

This bride decided to go the way of the inflatable wedding dress with balloons for materials. Maybe she takes her fashion cues from her companion wearing the alternate polka dot dress.

By a Hair

This wedding gown cost $75,000 and is made from 250 meters of human hair. That fact should have been off putting enough, but the bride also decided to have her wedding gown in black and red.

Accessorize Yourself

When they say it is important to accessorize your wedding dress, they did not mean look like an actual accessory. That seems to be the case with this bride who looks like a giant clutch bag.

Enchantment Under the Sea

Of the sea creatures that this bride could have chosen for the theme of her wedding gown, she made the unfortunate choice in picking an octopus.

Minimalist Wedding

When they minimalist wedding, I don’t think they meant even the clothes. This bride (along with her groom) decided to get married naked with just some body paint as their wedding attire.

Value Added

This dress doesn’t seem all that bad, until you find out that it cost $17,000 to make. With that much money, you’d think the dress would look better than this.

Bubble Bath

Here we have another dress that looks like it was dipped in large bubble bath. It’s no wonder that neither the bride nor the groom look pleased.

Cleaning it Up

There have been some eccentric wedding gown colors chosen on this list, but most of them looked like dresses and they were relatively clean. This design looks like it was dragged through the road and the mud before it was put on.

Orange You Glad

This couple really liked the color orange and found a way to incorporate it into their wedding outfits. The only reason the wedding gown looks a decent is because of the disaster of an outfit the groom is sporting.

Matching Colors

Here we have another attempt at matching colors with the bride draping over a red shawl over her gown. In this case, it looks so put together in the last minute that even the knot looks rushed and off.

Tone It Down

Brides come in all shapes in sizes. This bride is obviously blessed in some areas. And while there is nothing wrong with flaunting your gifts, if you’re this gifted, it’s better to tone it down than play it up.

Baby Bump

Here we have a dress with a strange opening in the middle. The bride is obviously expecting, and she wanted to fit into her wedding gown so alterations were apparently made.

Baby Train

In most weddings, the kids are usually given a part in the ceremony as ring bearers and flower girls. But in this instance, one of the kids wanted to ride the train all the way to the altar.

Blow Away

This makeshift gown looks like it was made with the wind in mind. While it does flow and move with the airy atmosphere, it also looks like its falling apart by the second.

Wedding Boo Boo

Here we have a celebrity wedding of Honey Boo Boo’s mom. While the dress is a little loud and surprising, did we really expect anything less from this family?

Baby Boom

The reality is that most weddings occur because a baby was made. But this is taking it a little bit too far with creating a dress made out of baby diapers.

Sweet and Savory

This dress was made with several cream puffs. And while it does look a little bit appetizing, I don’t think anyone will want to eat any dessert that has been recently worn as a dress.

Fruity Dress

Here we have a dress in two parts. One that looks like part-dress and part-pineapple, and another mode that will actually make you look like a giant white pineapple.

Have your Cake and Eat it Too

We’ve seen several edible wedding gowns in this list, but this is the first time that we will be seeing an actual wedding cake made into the wedding gown.

Fan Favorite

Most brides want to include everything they love into their wedding day, but this one bride in particular wanted to include her love for the sports team in her actual wedding gown.

Overflowing with Pink

There have been dresses that are too large to fit into doors and frames, but this particular pink number can’t even fit into a car.

Little Bo Peep is Getting Married

Animals and wedding gowns don’t necessarily mix, but this pair is making it work thanks to the bride’s wedding gown that looks like it was recently taken from another sheep.
