'Wheel of Fortune' Opts for Horrifying Puzzles

Wheel of Fortune wanted to keep the spooky vibes up for the last week of October.

One puzzle became eerily clear that it was reciting the CANDYMAN curse, with the same letters all repeating in a row. This is a reference to the 1992 film Candyman which consisted of summoning the Candyman while saying his name over and over. Scary!

People on Twitter were going nuts, especially the kids of the 80s and 90s who knew this summoning spell very well. Luckily, Wheel of Fortune what they were doing: the only way to summon Candyman is to say his name five times, and it was only listed four. Well, Pat Sajak wanted to tempt fate:

"That, by the way, for those of you that don't know is from a film called Candyman. And I said it a fifth time which means he appears, isn't that the way it works? Maybe he's under the wheel!"

Let's hope he doesn't regret that joke!

Contestant Jordon didn't get any bad luck with this puzzle. He left the show with a whopping $40,610!
