Stray Dog Repeatedly Stole Toy, So Animal Control Bought It For Him

A purple unicorn from a Dollar General was all this little puppy wanted, but a dollar was too high a price for this dog. The store located in Kenansville, North Carolina, alerted animal control to a large stray dog named Sisu. He had come into the store five separate times to steal the same purple toy from the shelves. The Duplin County Animal Control officer thought Sisu deserved a break, and bought him the little unicorn.

On Monday, the control department showed the public pictures via social media of him the big old dog happily enjoying his beloved prize.

"This is what happens when you break into the dollar general consistently to steal the purple unicorn that you laid claim to but then get animal control called to lock you up for your B & E and larceny but the officer purchases your item for you and brings it in with you," said the Facebook post concerning the events.

The story went viral overnight, with loads of dog lovers offering to buy him additional toys or even give him a forever home. Despite his criminal history, sweet little Sisu was placed with an adoptive family and is now enjoying his purple unicorn in the safety of his new lodgings. Thieves don't get much cuter than this, he must have stolen some hearts as well!
