Lucy Hale Adopts Kristen Bell's Foster Puppy

Lucy Hale has adopted a new puppy from The Good Place star Kristen Bell. Hale, 31, announced on Saturday that she had taken home Ethel, the puppy Bell had been fostering. Ethel is now the younger sibling of Hale's first dog, Elvis.

""Everyone meet Ethel. Thank you Melissa and everyone at @wagmorpets for rescuing her & for all you do to find safe homes for these angels," Hale wrote on Instagram. "And big thank you to the best @kristenanniebell for fostering!! We love u🐾♥️"

Hale reposted a photo of Bell and Ethel together on her Instagram Story, captioning the photo, "Thank u auntie @kristenanniebell for being the best foster."

Earlier that day, Bell had shared that all of her foster dogs were on their way to forever homes. "Just finished fostering some itty bitty new rescue pups from @wagmorpets - they are all adopted as of TODAY(yay!!)!" she captioned an Instagram post featuring all of the pups.

Hale recently opened up about her love for her maltipoo Elvis, whom she called her "best friend."

"I did all of quarantine alone, so I honestly don't know what I would've done without Elvis. He kept me company and kept me sane," she said in October. "We were already super close, but I feel we bonded even more during that time."
