Dunkin' Adds Coconut Milk As Non-Dairy Option

Dunkin' was an early adopter of the oat milk trend, adding the option to menus across the nation. Now, coconut milk is following suit.

According to the brand, coconut milk will begin rolling out to locations on Thursday. Now, customers can enjoy oat, almond, and coconut milks as an alternative to whole or dairy-based milk.

In order to showcase the new milk option, Dunkin' has added two new menu items: Coconut Refreshers and Coconutmilk Iced Latte. The brand calls Refreshers the "perfect pick-me-ups [with] a boost of energy and bursts of flavor, combining coconut milk, flavored fruit concentrate, and B vitamins."

The Refreshers come in three varieties—Pink Strawberry, which combines strawberry and dragonfruit; Golden Peach, which offers peach and passionfruit flavors; and Purple Pomegranate, which boasts blueberry and pomegranate.

The Coconutmilk Iced Latte is described as "a delicious blend of roasted espresso notes and subtly sweet, nutty coconut."

"The start of the summer season is the perfect time to expand our menu with coconut milk, another exciting non-dairy choice for our guests," says Jill Nelson, Dunkin's vice president of marketing and culinary. "From our colorful Dunkin' Coconut Refreshers to our creamy Coconutmilk Iced Latte, Dunkin' is crafting the coolest coconut milk beverages to keep our guests refreshed and running, throughout summer and all year-long."
